"The Hollywood actor met his long-term French love in 1998

whilst filming The Ninth Gate. Although the pair aren't

married, they have two children together, daughter

Johnny, who has formerly dated British supermodel Kate Moss,

says Vanessa has changed his outlook on life and continually

amazes him with her humble nature.

"Even though she was successful, she wasn't warped by fame.

She also has a great sense of humour and can get me out

of my bad moods. I can still fly off the handle and she's

the one person who's able to get me to see things

differently," he explained in an interview with Look magazine.

"She's helped me become a better man."

Johnny, 47, says that being with Vanessa felt natural

from the beginning. The hunky actor believes love is

unexplainable, and that sometimes things happen which

aren't logical.

"It's hard for me to explain how everything has worked

out so well for me since I met Vanessa. How was it that

I saw her sitting in a restaurant one day in Paris? Why did

we feel so right for each other? You can't explain those

things." he gushed."

in May. I do wish sometime this year Rum Diary makes it to the

theaters, since J.A. and I were there for part of the filming of it.

Not sure if Johnny is taking some well deserved time off

with those who truly make him happy.. his family.

Or if he is going right into another project as soon as Pirates

concludes. I really hope that he gets Rum Diary off and in

in Puerto Rico last year, really looking forward to see

it all come together.

Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland knocked Lord of the

Rings-The Two Towersout of the #10 spot for top

grossing movies of all time!! Well we alreadyknew they

were a winnning team, now maybe the rest are finally

catching up. I can't wait for The Lone Ranger and

Dark Shadows!!   Released back in March the movie

has now grossed a whopping $925 million.

And a big chunck of that is my $$!!

Johnny has 2 other movies in the top ten.. Pirates of the

Caribbean Dead Man's Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean

At Worlds End.

Threeout of ten is pretty damn good, if I do say so..

Alice in Wonderland is now Tim's most successful films

of all time. Alice is one of two movies that came out in a

3 month period that were 3D.

Looks like at this point Alice has beat Avatar in opening

weekend box office statistics.. Personally I loved Alice!!

Avatar... I really was impressed with the

3D it was a beautiful movie.. but the storyline was

just the boy wants to save world.. boy meets girl.. boy

saves girl boy saves world.. storyline.. So Avatar for

3D was great.. story wasn't.. Alice on the other hand..

GREAT 3D beautifully Tim... and the story was great..

it was interesting and suspenseful.

So my opinion... Alice kicks Avatar's BUTT!!!!

Well it finally happened!! March5 has arrived and passed

and Alice in Wonderlandis open and filling theaters by the

droves! I went to the midnight show Thursday night and

again Friday afternoon.. and.. plan on going back again

before Monday.Already have hints that it might surpass

100 million dollars for the first weekend per the LA Times,

which is fantastic!

Depp Wins Career Achievement Award at the 2009 Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF)

Johnny was awarded the Career Achievement Award at the

Bahamas International Film Festival Sunday night.

Sean Connery, who is also a Bahama's resident presented

the award to Johnny. Johnny being the sincerely humble man

that he is "a little stupefied by the notion of winning awards,

" adding, The first thing I say is,"Why? I just go to work like

anyone else, except my job happens to be a little stranger."

The stars were out last night at a tribute to his best

friendTim Burton at the Museum of Modern Art in

New York City.  The exhibit runs till April 2010 and it

features 700 items ofthe director's paintings, photographs

and storyboards andwill also screen 14 of his films.

SCREAM AWARDS For a Win

His Good Friend Keith Richards

Johnny made a surprise appearance this weekend at the SCREAM Awards in

Los Angeles. There for a nomination for Most anticipated Fantasy Character and winning it, and to present his idol-friend the Rock Immortal Award.

"Johnny Depp surprised fans at Hollywood's Scream Awards by taking to the stage to present legendary hell raiser Keith Richards with a 'Rock Immortal award'.

Hundreds of horror-junkies dressed as vampires, zombies and monsters welcomed the Rolling Stones guitarist with a standing ovation as the actor presented him with the honour.

The pair have worked together Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End, and Johnny credits Keith as being his inspiration for the Jack Sparrow character.

"I liked the living legend, that was all right, but immortal is even better," Richards said in an interview before accepting the honour, referring to a previous award he'd received from the American lads channel which hosted the event, Spike TV.

The star-studded ceremony, held at Los Angeles' Greek Theatre, honours the best in sci-fi, horror, fantasy and comic-inspired movies and TV shows.

Fans voted online for the winners, so some of the year's most popular programs and big box-office hits took home trophies, including Transformers, Twilight, True Blood and Star Trek.

Quentin Tarantino, Tobey Maguire, Jessica Alba, Kate Bosworth, Harrison Ford, Justin Long and Christina Ricci also helped present the spike-shaped trophies.

Morgan Freeman presented the Ultimate Scream award to Star Trek - and William Shatner shocked fans when he stepped on stage to accept the trophy.

"This movie was big," Shatner said. "Imagine how big it could have been with me in it? ... I'll be waiting for your call."

his friend Tim Burton in front of thousands of

screaming fans to show for the first time

a short 3-D trailer from the newest Depp-Burton

collaboration "Alice in Wonderland". Tim hadn't been to

Comic-Con for years and Johnny had never been.

The crowd went wild when Johnny came out on stage.

The Fan-Tee-C Handed Over

To Johnny!

      An unique t-shirt has been travelling around the world:                the Fan-Tee-C.
It travelled from member to member of our board. Each of us     wrote a message for Johnny on it, before sending the Tee               to the next in line. Together, we made an unique                  document of admiration and love!

The voyage of the Tee was more than 30,000 miles long ,               and took over a year. It travelled from California to Russia....       and then finally, it was finished; ready for its ultimate       destination and rightful owner: Johnny.

We proudly announce that Kim, global moderator of our           board, has handed over the Tee to Johnny, personally, late     thursday night April 16th, on the set of The Rum Diary in        Puerto Rico! And he was very happy with it!
