Johnny Re-signs With GK Films

For Another Production Deal

GK Films -Graham King and Tim Headington have re-solidified their relationship

with Depp's Infinitum Nihil Production for another 3 years. Under the new deal,

GK Films will fully finance and co-produce film and TV projects Depp

and Infinitum Nihil president and sister Christi Dembrowski  hatch up. The deal

comes as King and Headington are ready to expand their company in big ways.

They have hired Sony Pictures , Peter Schlessel to become president, and they are establishing an independent film distribution unit that is rumors to be run by

Bob Berney.

Johnny seems to be connected with a lot of GK's current important projects

as an actor or producer. He just finished filming The Tourist with Angelina

Jolie in Venice, and The Rum Diary is a book by Hunter S Thompson tha

t wasfilmed last year in Puerto Rico. We are still anxiously awaiting the

release of this one.   The team has also produced the Martin Scorsese

directed Hugo Cabret, the 3D film which will start productionsoon. IN

and GK are also producing Dark Shadows for Warner Brothers, with Johnny

starring for Tim Burton. Johnny also was the voice for the title character in

, an animated film in which Gore Verbinski directed and co-producing with GK.

Alice in Wonderland Land's the Top Ten for Box Office Success!!!

Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland knocked Lord of the Rings-The Two Towers

out of the #10 spot for top grossing movies of all time!! Well we already

knew they were a winnning team, now maybe the rest are finally catching up.

I can't wait for The Lone Ranger and Dark Shadows!!

Released back in March the movie has now grossed a whopping $925 million.

. And a big chunck of that is my $$!!

Johnny has 2 other movies in the top ten.. Pirates of the Caribbean

Dead Man's Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean At Worlds End. Three

out of ten is pretty damn good, if I do say so..

Alice in Wonderland is now Tim's most successful films of all

time. Alice is one of two movies that came out in a 3 month

period that were 3D.

Well Alice in Wonderland is Kicking Avatar's Avatar Butt!!!!

Looks like at this point Alice has beat Avatar in opening weekend box office

statistics.. Personally I loved Alice!! Avatar... I really was impressed with the

3D it was a beautiful movie.. but the storyline was just the boy wants to save world..

boy meets girl.. boy saves girl boy saves world.. storyline.. So Avatar for 3D

was great.. story wasn't.. Alice on the other hand.. GREAT 3D beautifully Tim...

and the story was great.. it was interesting and suspenseful.

So my opinion... Alice kicks Avatar's BUTT!!!! LOL

Alice in Wonderland OPENS!!!!!!

Well it finally happened!! March5 has arrived and passed and Alice in Wonderland

is open and filling theaters by the droves! I went to the midnight show Thursday night and again Friday afternoon.. and.. plan on going back again before Monday.

Already have hints that it might surpass 100 million dollars for the first weekend per the LA Times, which is fantastic!

Johnny goes to Serbia for the Kusendorf Film Fesitval in Belgrade meeting with President Boris Tadic`.

Johnny will be there for the next three days which will include a presentation of a life sized bust of Johnny that will be placed

near the entrance to the confectionery "Kod Corkana" that will be followed by fireworks. They are presenting Johnny with the Award for Future Films.

Rumor is that Johnny will be playing Pancho Villa in Serbian

director Emir Kusturica's adaptation.

a very much deserved accolade. We have known for some time now

that Johnny is defnitely the best actor

Johnny Depp: 'Honor to represent Heath'

Johnny Depp has spoken out about replacing Heath Ledger in the late star's last film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

According to HitFlix, Depp has joined Jude Law as the second actor to open up about the movie.

"It was an honour to represent Heath. He was the only player out there breathing heavy down the back of every established actor's neck with a thundering and ungovernable talent that came up on you quick, hissing rather mischievously with that cheeky grin, 'Hey... get on out of my way boys, I'm coming through'," he said.

Depp teamed with Colin Farrell and Law in playing alternate reality versions of Ledger's character after the principle star passed away from an accidental prescription drug overdose.

"Though the circumstances of my involvement are extremely heart-rending and unbelievably sad, I feel privileged to have been asked aboard to stand in on behalf of dear Heath," he added.

Depp Wins Career Achievement Award at the 2009 Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF)

Johnny was awarded the Career Achievement Award at the

Bahamas International Film Festival Sunday night.

Sean Connery, who is also a Bahama's resident presented

the award to Johnny. Johnny being the sincerely humble man

that he is "a little stupefied by the notion of winning awards,

" adding, The first thing I say is, ‘Why?’ I just go to work like

anyone else, except my job happens to be a little stranger.”

some quiet time over Christmas since they will be spending

it on the island.

Johnny Depp Shows His Best Friend Support at MoMA Tribute Event in NY

The stars were out last night at a tribute to his best friend

Tim Burton at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

The exhibit runs till April 2010 and it features 700 items of

the director's paintings, photographs and storyboards and

will also screen 14 of his films.

Johnny Showed Up At SCREAM AWARDS For a Win and to Present to

His Good Friend Keith Richards

Johnny made a surprise appearance this weekend at the SCREAM Awards in

Los Angeles. There for a nomination for Most anticipated Fantasy Character and winning it, and to present his idol-friend the Rock Immortal Award.

"Johnny Depp surprised fans at Hollywood's Scream Awards by taking to the stage to present legendary hell raiser Keith Richards with a 'Rock Immortal award'.

Hundreds of horror-junkies dressed as vampires, zombies and monsters welcomed the Rolling Stones guitarist with a standing ovation as the actor presented him with the honour.

The pair have worked together Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End, and Johnny credits Keith as being his inspiration for the Jack Sparrow character.

"I liked the living legend, that was all right, but immortal is even better," Richards said in an interview before accepting the honour, referring to a previous award he'd received from the American lads channel which hosted the event, Spike TV.

The star-studded ceremony, held at Los Angeles' Greek Theatre, honours the best in sci-fi, horror, fantasy and comic-inspired movies and TV shows.

Fans voted online for the winners, so some of the year's most popular programs and big box-office hits took home trophies, including Transformers, Twilight, True Blood and Star Trek.

Quentin Tarantino, Tobey Maguire, Jessica Alba, Kate Bosworth, Harrison Ford, Justin Long and Christina Ricci also helped present the spike-shaped trophies.

Morgan Freeman presented the Ultimate Scream award to Star Trek - and William Shatner shocked fans when he stepped on stage to accept the trophy.

"This movie was big," Shatner said. "Imagine how big it could have been with me in it? ... I'll be waiting for your call."

Public Enemies Has Huge Weekend!!

According to Variety :

Universal's Johnny Depp gangster pic "Public Enemies," which also opened Wednesday, served as solid counterprogramming to the two tentpoles. Period piece, directed by Michael Mann, grossed $41 million in its first five days at the domestic B.O. and $5.3 million from five territories overseas, bringing worldwide cume to $46.3 million.

Distribs and exhibs were expecting a slow holiday Saturday, but the drop was even bigger than expected at 30% or more.

Update:

Johnny has been incredibly busy the last few months.. and now with all the Public Enemies press junket's and Premiere's he has got to be crawling! It sure is nice getting new pictures every few days .. AND a new movie to go see 100 times!

I hope he is going to get some well earned R&R in a few weeks.. Here's hoping!

An unique t-shirt has been travelling around the world: the Fan-Tee-C.
It travelled from member to member of our board. Each of us wrote a message for Johnny on it, before sending the Tee to the next in line. Together, we made an unique document of admiration and love!

The voyage of the Tee was more than 30,000 miles long , and took over a year. It travelled from California to Russia.... and then finally, it was finished; ready for its ultimate destination and rightful owner: Johnny.

We proudly announce that Kim, global moderator of our board, has handed over the Tee to Johnny, personally, late thursday night April 16th, on the set of The Rum Diary in Puerto Rico! And he was very happy with it!
