SYNOPSIS
Robert Rodriguez returns with the mythic
guitar-slinging hero, El Mariachi (Antonio Banderas), in the third
installment of the El Mariachi/Desperado trilogy. The saga
continues as El Mariachi makes his way across a rugged landscape
on the trail of Barrillo (Willem Dafoe), a kingpin who is planning
a coup against the president of Mexico. Enlisted by Sands (Johnny
Depp), a corrupt CIA agent, El Mariachi demands retribution, and
the adventure begins. The character, made famous by Banderas,
remains a slinger of guitars and guns, a tragic and bloodied hero,
but a survivor forever.

Booger!
The Chihuahua
has a name tag that says Moco on it. Moco was the villain in

years, especially coming out of Hollywood, Ive met and worked with
people who were at their very base, at the very core of their
existence, they're foul, they're monstrous. But somehow, there's a
charm to
them."

QUOTES FROM
OTHERS
"Another
thing that surprises me is how funny (Johnny Depp) really is. I
know you saw him in the movie, but in person, he is really
naturally funny as well. He is just so dreamy." Eva Mendes,

| "I know I'd get along with Johnny really well, because he's as
paranoid a dad as me. He brought bottled water because he didn't
want his daughter to get sick. Guys cursed with imaginations can
imagine the worst things happening to their
children." Robert Rodriguez, USA Today, Sept. 9, 2003
"Johnny's a sweet man. I didn't have that
many scenes with him in the film. It was just one scene with him
in a bar and the rest of the time we were communicating over the
phone and stuff like that, so we didn't have to work together so
much. But that day was excellent, and we had a lot of fun. I like
Johnny. Of his generation, he's totally different from the rest of
the actors. He's made some beautiful choices on the screen that
are different and special... I like him very
much." Antonio Banderas, Latino Review, 2003

Johnny Depp shot all of
his scenes in 9 days, but after his filming was done he
didn't want to leave. So he suggested to Robert Rodriguez
that he play a small part,
the priest that Antonio Banderas talks to in the church, and
use his Marlon Brando impression.
